It was my son Andrew's fourth birthday this week and we had a party for him yesterday. One of the things the kids got to do at the party was to paint and decorate a picture frame. We had a very eventful Easter morning at hour house... My daughter Melanie has been going on for days about how she was hoping for an Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday and the she really wanted the Easter Bunny to leave clues for them. Hunts like this have become a tradition in our family and the kids love it! She even went so far as to write a letter for the Easter Bunny to make sure he knew that she wanted to do it again this year:

Melanie takes piano lessons through the Studio Nine School of Music. She loves to play and she never complains about practicing. She also gets very excited about playing at the regular recitals organized by the school. In fact she had her song for this recital picked out weeks ago! She was a little nervous before her performance, but she pulled it off and played very well!
