Walking in the Shaw Woods
While at the Cottage Uncle Wayne took us for a tour of the
Shaw Woods Outdoor Education Centre. Shaw Woods is a beautiful old growth forest that has an abundance of wildlife and plant growth. Wayne volunteers as a tour guide and had plenty of things to show us as we wandered along the trails.
After Mark & Chantal’s Wedding in Sarnia we drove through Algonquin Park to get to the cottage, and we took some time out to do a couple of short hikes. We stopped at Hardwood Lookout and at Spruce Bog Boardwalk. Both were beautiful and definitely worth doing, but it made for a much longer drive than we expected…
